Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 19, 2026
This policy explains what Did It Run? ("we", "us"), operated by James Labossiere, collects and how we use it. It is a general policy and not legal advice.
What we collect
- Account data: your email address, optional name, timezone, and a hashed password if you set one.
- Watch data: the names, schedules and settings of your watches and alert channels (e.g. Slack/Discord webhook URLs, Telegram chat IDs).
- Check-ins: for each ping or email received, the time, size, item count, the first 500 characters of the body or email (subject and text), the sender address for emails, and the user agent for pings.
- Billing data: handled by Stripe. We store your Stripe customer and subscription IDs and plan, never your card details.
- Basic logs: standard server logs kept by our hosting provider for security and debugging.
How we use it
- To run the service: evaluate schedules, send alerts and digests, and show history.
- To send account email (sign-in links, alerts, digests, important service notices).
- To add new sign-ups to our mailing list for product updates; you can unsubscribe from any marketing email at any time.
We do not sell your data. We do not access your ChatGPT, Claude, Zapier, Make, n8n or other accounts, and we never run your code.
Service providers
We use providers to operate the service, such as hosting (Vercel), database hosting, email delivery and inbound email processing, payments (Stripe) and email marketing (ActiveCampaign). They process data only on our behalf.
Retention
Check-in history is kept for your plan's history window (7, 30 or 90 days) and then deleted. Deleting a watch deletes its history. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export or delete your data by contacting diditrun@mail.grokbot.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA.
Security
We use encryption in transit, hashed passwords, and access controls. No system is perfectly secure; treat ping URLs and watch email addresses like passwords and regenerate them if exposed.
Changes
We may update this policy and will note the date above. Material changes will be announced by email.
